U.S. condemns Palestinian Because Not Acknowledge For State

Antara - Senin, 13 Desember
Ramallah (ANTARA / Xinhua-OANA) - Palestinian officials Saturday condemned the United States over its refusal to admit the formation of an independent Palestinian state in territory occupied by Israel in the 1967 war, and says that for him it was too early to recognize a Palestinian state.

Ahmad Majdalani, a member of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), told Xinhua that the Palestinian leader "deeply regrets the attitude of America recently, which rejected the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with 1967 borders."

"The U.S. should be a fair mediator and the real sponsor of a successful peace process with specific targets," said Majdalani.

"In addition to not blame the Israeli government, which hinder the peace process, blaming the U.S. instead of other countries who engage in political and recognize a Palestinian state."

Majdalani declaration refers to the Latin American countries recently, Brazil and Argentina, which recognizes the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

The Palestinians have threatened that if peace talks fail, they will urge the world to recognize Palestine as an independent state.

The peace process is now entering the real crisis after the U.S. official told the Palestinian leader who decided to stop negotiations with Israel if there is no freeze settlement construction in the Palestinian territories.

U.S. wants to hold separate bilateral talks with both parties to find a middle solution.

Palestinians suspend talks on October 2 directly, which is sponsored by the U.S., one month after the launch in Washington.

The decision they made after Israel refused to extend the ten-month moratorium on Jewish settlement construction freeze them in the Palestinian territories, which ended on September 26
