Jakarta - The House of Representatives (DPRD) Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) will hold a plenary meeting today, Monday (13/12/2010) at 13.00 hrs. The meeting was held to decide the attitude of parliament bill Privileges DIY related.

Chairman of the DPRD DIY, Yoeke Indra Samawi, is optimistic the meeting will decide the people of Yogyakarta, which is represented by Parliament, rather than the establishment of provincial elections (elections) as a mechanism for the appointment of governor, vice governor of DIY.

"That's what I catch the majority of legislators DIY pengennya determination," Indra said when contacted by AFP on Monday (13/12/2010).

Indra said, in a meeting of all factions will be given an opportunity to present
opinions and attitudes related RUUK DIY. Once all the collected opinions and attitudes, then that's what will be the attitude of the DPRD DIY.

When asked what if the central government still decides to conduct elections, Indra said, it will try to arrange the liver, with the trust the central government will listen to the heart of the people of Yogyakarta.

Indra told, polemic these features could make legislators emotion because the issue had long been discussed and does not produce a meaningful decision.

"Parliament felt it was a bit emotional because it is actually setting the governor has long been established. Kan was essentially the privilege of Yogyakarta," he explained.

Still associated with RUUK DIY, said Indra, his 34 legislators to continue to monitor and oversee the development of the draft bill was in Jakarta. While 17 members will be flown again
back to bring the draft law to Yogyakarta.

"In total there are 51 members of the Board, divided into 3 delegates. Two delegates had already left. Delegation of the three set off once the draft is in the hands of the House," lid Indra.
